Take a Snowshoe Tour off trail and away from other people into a snowy winter wonderland. Wanderlust Tours’ professional naturalist snowshoe guides bring the Mt. Bachelor area alive for you with vibrant interpretation along the way and snow play for all ages. Snowshoeing tours are customized for all adventure desires – stroll easily on flatter areas or leap off powder-covered lava flows and get “air” on snowshoes like you never imagined- all in the same trip! (Even your teens will love it!)
Snowshoeing tours take place in wild areas around Mt. Bachelor and the surrounding Deschutes National Forest of the Cascade Mountain Range of Oregon.
New to off-trail snowshoeing? Let Wanderlust Tours do the driving and teach you fun snowshoeing techniques and tricks. All tours include instruction.
Snowshoes are included! Wanderlust Tours does not rent snowshoes. All tours are fully guided. Wear winter boots and powder/ski pants to keep your feet and legs dry while snowshoeing.
Snowshoe boot and pant rentals are available through Wanderlust Tours. Please reserve sizes when you make your reservation for your tour and boots/pants will be brought to the pick-up site for you.

Shoes, Brews & Views Tour
Come have a blast in the deep forest with a professional naturalist guide and, like a true Bendite, enjoy a hand-crafted micro-brew while staring at magnificent mountain vistas!
We blaze our own trail away from other people to little known viewpoints. Sweet nuances of the forest will be brought to life and amazing fun surfing the hills can be had by all, making this Wanderlust Tour the best winter activity for families in Bend or Sunriver, Oregon!
Tour runs every Saturday in winter picking up at 1:30pm
$65 per person includes transportation, guide, snowshoes, instruction, light snack and samples of local micro-brews!

Snowshoe a short way with a Wanderlust Tours guide to a quiet spot in the snowy forest to bask at a glowing bonfire in the middle of an amazing amphitheater hand-carved into the snow! Relax around the fire enjoying delectable desserts and hot drinks while naturalist guides share fun facts about the forest, its animal life and the night sky! This is Bend and Sunriver's ultimate snowshoeing apres ski event.
Tours pick up at 7:00pm and finish at 11:00pm
$75 per person includes transportation, guide, snowshoes, instruction, hot drinks and locally made desserts!

Snowshoe by the light of the moon! Discover the Cascades under the bright moonlight reflecting off of the white snow, and look for signs of animals in their nocturnal wonderland! Wanderlust Tours runs monthly moonlight snowshoe trips for the few nights surrounding each full moon from December to May.
Starlight / Moonlight Snowshoe Tours are $65 per person and include transportation, guide, snowshoes, instruction and hot cocoa at the end of the tour!
